“Kayaking Haven”

September 22, 2016

— KAYAKS, those long narrow boats pointed at both ends and moved by a paddle with two blades, would find favorable conditions in a scene created by artist Kay Jackson.  This eye-catching artwork is #4 in a series of four mixed-media pieces made with recycled multi-colored and tempered glass.  “Kayaking Haven” measures 23 and one-fourth inches in width, and 5 and one-half inches in height – and, it is done on wood.  The artwork is available for $150 plus shipping costs.  Like the others in this series, this piece would be a unique and colorful touch to any room or space.
