Ms. Ruby

ONE of the more recent creative works by artist Kay Jackson is a painting entitled “Ms. Ruby.” Using hues of tan, brown, yellow, black and green, the artist has captured the personality of a special animal. Even the head is slightly cocked in a way that Ms. Ruby often stands. It is a watercolor of a Labradoodle, and the original is already hanging in the home of the owner. ¬†“She’s a grand dog,” as one might say, in more ways than just one!

I am so pleased that you captured me in all my youthful vigor! I will always cherish it on my master’s wall, and I think it is a much better picture than the one of my big brother, Ted.
