Story of Shag is Shared

  — THE STORY from the children’s book “Shag Finds a Home” was recently shared with elementary students.  Author Barbara Whisler and illustrator Kay Jackson met with 4th graders at the Fair Play Elementary School in Fair Play, Missouri on Tuesday, April 14.  After listening to the storyline about the dog and reviewing the vocabulary list, the student’s were given the opportunity to draw their own interpretations of Shag.  The children then shared their drawings with the class.

New Location for Artist

  — ARTIST KAY JACKSON has left her winter home in northwest Florida.
